In 2015, Jamie returned from two years of serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Indonesia. You can read stories about falling in the sewer, the vagina massage, and smuggling her cat home on her blog at:
Jamie grew up in Washington State with a Calvin and Hobbes imagination and a family that played music around the campfire and slept on cedar boughs under the stars. And so, she loves anything to do with the outdoors. She rock climbs, backpacks, mountain bikes, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, snowboards ...you get the idea. If it's outside, she digs it. Jamie has played many roles from barista to river guide and 17 years as a school teacher.
These images are from various adventures backpacking through the jungle, riding bikes, and sipping pina coladas on the beach. Jamie specializes in zen abstracts and macros, and the spirit of the Pacific Northwest. Her collection is from around the world including Ghana, India, Central America, Hawaii, Indonesia, Europe and the good 'ol PNW. Through her art, Jamie hopes to awaken your spirit to feelings of peace, tranquility, joy, and awe.
