If you can predict a repetitive behavior, you can plan or prepare a better reaction. If you know the taxi driver, "doesn't have change," you can stop getting angry about it and plan to have change, get dropped off at a shop that will give you change, or leave a tip. If you find yourself thinking angrily, "I know when I get there he's gonna____." Or, "I KNEW he would do that!" plan a more proactive response than anger. Prepare how you will handle it or address it before it happens! If your friend is always late, plan to be late, call him when he should be leaving, don't stew about it for 15 minutes. Adapt, adjust, accommodate, enjoy life...
